BA (Hons) in History aims to help students develop a holistic perspective of history. It provides a balanced curriculum with equal emphasis on China and the global world. After completing the programme, students will possess a sound understanding of major events and movements that have shaped the growth of the human community, as well as the skills necessary to trace the historical roots of contemporary issues and to analyse worldwide the impact of individual events. Remarks
Students may have the option of taking an integrated programme by extending their undergraduate study by one year, leading to the award of a bachelor's degree in that Major plus a Diploma in Education.

Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma Students/ Holders
AD/ HD holders or students studying in the final year of AD /HD programmes may apply for Year 3 entry.
Transfer Students
Transfer students are current students of recognised local/ overseas institutions who are enrolled in a full-time or sandwich government-funded or self-financed degree programme.
Applicants who have completed at least one year of study of a 3-year degree programme or two years of study of a 4-year degree programme may apply for Year 3 entry.
Inter-institutional transfer of students is considered on a case-by-case basis.
Degree Holders
Holders of Bachelor’s/ Master’s/ Doctoral Degree or students studying in the final year of a degree programme may apply for Year 3 entry.
Applicants applying to the programme are expected to have a Chinese language qualification as deemed acceptable by the University.
For applicants holding international qualifications, they may fulfill the Chinese Language requirement with the following Chinese qualifications:
